Thanks to Donors, Deep Brain Stimulation Now Available

Earlier this year, thanks to our donors, we were able to purchase $250,000 Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) technology for Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders.

This innovative procedure, led by Dr. Antonios El Helou, will significantly improve patients’ quality of life. The first DBS procedure in New Brunswick was performed at The Moncton Hospital on 54 year old Sean Ward (in photo with wife Lori) of Sackville. The result – life changing!
